Living the Dream Award

Each year, the Living the Dream Award is awarded to a person or persons whose work for equality and diversity makes our community a better place and celebrates the vision of Martin Luther King, Jr. The Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration Committee, along with the YWCA and United Way of Adams County, are currently accepting applications for the 2008 award. The winner will receive a cash prize sponsored by the YWCA and United Way, as well as be recognized at the Martin Luther King Celebration in January.

Nominations will be accepted until November 16. Self-nominations will be accepted. To nominate yourself or someone else, please send a letter describing the nominee and the work that the person or group has done. Please include contact information as well.
