Book Lovers' Club Continues

The Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg (UUG) will continue with The Book Lovers' Club for youth between the ages of 9 and 18. There will be three sessions: grades 4/5; grades 6, 7, 8; and grades 9-12. Days and times will be established when a sufficient number of readers sign up. Each member chooses their own book to read based on their interests or goals in reading. The purpose of the club is to encourage young readers to discuss what they are reading with their peers, ask questions and recommend books to each other, and ultimately, facilitate their own group. Field trips will be planned to meet authors the readers are familiar with. The group meets at 136 N. Stratton Street, the home of the UUG. For more information, or to sign up, please contact reading specialist Sara Gondwe at (717) 337-3310, or sgondwe@pa.net.
