RELIGIOUS EDUCATION for our young people is a top priority. We begin our year with a new program for our littlest members, ages 3-5, called UU Garden.  This semester our school age youth will be constructing stoles that artistically represent their spiritual journeys and milestones. They will be busy organizing and running a long-term fund raising project for the Heifer Project, an organization that provides working animals to people around the world who are able to use the animals to improve the quality of their lives. Along with the planning of an intergenerational service for fall and a Christmas Eve program, this semester focuses on serving our church and global communities. Nursery care provided.

BUDDHIST INSIGHT MEDITATION SESSIONS occur in the sanctuary of the Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg located at 136 S. Stratton Street on Sunday evenings from 6:30 -- 8:00 p.m. and are ongoing.  John Mulligan, practicing Buddhist and Melissa Sandoe, practicing Sufi, are our leaders.  Meditation could include movement, dance or chanting.  All are welcome.  There are no fees but donations to aid the church w/ building expenses are appreciated.  For more information contact Sara at 334-2920 and leave a message.
