Gettysburg
Editor's Note: Visit the Community
Calendar for the most up-to-date UUG announcements.
The Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg hold weekly Sunday
services at 10:30 a.m. at 136 South Stratton Street, Gettysburg.
Rev. Ron Crawford is minister. Everyone is welcome. The service
on May 14 will be a unique Intergenerational Mother’s Day
Service, with the children. Bring your mother on May 14 for a meaningful
Mother’s Day service. The children will share something about
the true history of Mother’s Day and its connection with
Unitarian Julia Ward Howe. The service will include some moving
surprises, and lots of music. For the monthly potluck that follows,
bring a dish made from the recipe of a female ancestor, with a
card identifying her.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION for young people is a top priority. Children
attending UUG this month will find out about the principles we
live by through the stories of courageous people and Harry Potter!
Nursery care is provided.
