Unitarian Universalist Activities
The Unitarian Universalists of Gettysburg meet twice a month, the second and fourth Sundays at 3:00 p.m. UUG meets at Trinity United Church of Christ, at the corner of South Stratton and East High Streets in Gettysburg. There is a children’s religious education program. Everyone is welcome.
On June 27, The Rev. Ronald B. Crawford will speak on “The Meaning of Spirituality.” Rev. Crawford shares his understanding of spirituality, what it is and how it may influence our lives. The Rev. Crawford is the Pastoral Minister, UU Congregation of Frederick. Refreshments will follow the service.
On July 11, the UUG will hold its Annual Potluck Picnic at Battlefield Bed and Breakfast, 2264 Emmitsburg Road, Gettysburg. There will be a Sharing Service entitled “Tolerance.” The service includes reading a “Story for All Ages” dealing with tolerance, followed by a discussion. The theme is related to the UU principle of respecting the inherent worth and dignity of the individual.
