Soup Kitchen, Prince of Peace Co-Sponsor "Meals and More"

The Gettysburg Community Soup Kitchen and Prince of Peace Episcopal Church are co-sponsoring a summer program for children between the ages of 7 and 14. The program is called “Meals and More,” and it runs Monday through Friday in the church undercroft from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to lunch, the children enjoy arts and crafts, reading, and games for all ages. There will also be some tutoring, computer training, and self-esteem building activities for the children. The Soup Kitchen is expecting between 20 and 40 children to share in the joy of this new program. Questions about “Meals and More” may be addressed to Nancy Forgang at Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, 334-6463.
