Rev. Mackie to Give Presentation on Iran

The Reverend Sandra R. Mackie will present “A Call to Peace: Breaking Down Barriers to Peace Through Understanding: A Power Point Introduction to the People, the Land, the Culture and Religions in Iran,” on Thursday, March 27, at the Gettysburg Lutheran Seminary. She will give a brown-bag lunch presentation at 12:15 and another presentation at 6:30 p.m., both in Room 206, Valentine Hall.

In May 2007, Rev. Mackie traveled to Iran as a member of a 16 person Civilian Diplomacy Delegation. This delegation was organized by the Fellowship of Reconciliation, an interfaith, international peace making organization that was founded in 1914 by a German Lutheran pastor and an English Quaker.
