Peace Camp 2004: “Exploring the Middle East”

Peace Camp 2004 will focus on “Exploring the Middle East,” featuring songs, games, customs, and crafts from the region. The camp, which will be held from June 21 to 25th, 8:30-11:30 a.m., is open to children from ages 5 to 12. There are opportunities for teens to attend as Junior Counselors.

The camp will once again be directed by Dr. Connie Monroe, Assistant Professor of Education at Mount Saint Mary’s College. She will be assisted by adult and teen volunteers. For campers, there is a $5 registration fee, which can be waived in cases of need. T-shirts are available for $12.

Peace Camp has been a program of the ICPJ since 1988.

Please look inside for an application form. For more information, or to volunteer, please call 717-642-8542.

[Note from the webmaster: You may also download an application form from the Peace Camp website, or email peacecamp@icpj-gettysburg.org for more information or to volunteer.]
